Crystal Chanukah Dreidel
The dreidel game is a Chanukah tradition. The letters on the four sides each represent a word in the saying, “A great miracle happened here,” meaning in Jerusalem. This elegant dreidel holds something special inside – a vial of oil, commemorating the Chanukah miracle that occurred when the Maccabees fought to regain control of the defiled Temple. Against overwhelming odds, they won. When it was time to rededicate the Temple and light the menorah, there was only enough oil to last one day. The priests went ahead, trusting the Lord, and the small amount of oil lasted eight days until more could be purified. This beautiful dreidel comes with a display base and measures 3”x2”x2”.
